We want to provide an encouraging update on COVID-19 within our Friendship Village of Bloomington community. As of today, all residents who previously tested positive for COVID-19 have been cleared of the virus, and we have no active cases of COVID-19 in our community.
While this is great news, we must remain vigilant in protecting our community against the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, please continue to stay in your homes, practice social distancing if you must venture out for essential items, wash your hands frequently and use hand sanitizer. In addition, we ask that you wear a mask when you leave your home or the Friendship Bloomington campus. If you have left the campus, please proceed to the community location for the appropriate screening process including a temperature check upon your return. All residents must adhere to the screening process when they return to the community.
As a reminder, while the Governor of Minnesota moved from a stay-at-home order to certain stay safe restrictions, Lifespace and Friendship Village of Bloomington are continuing to follow heightened infection control guidelines. We encourage everyone to only leave the community for essential needs like groceries or critical medical appointments, practice social distancing and proper hand hygiene. As we have done throughout the last several weeks, we will regularly communicate updates about our efforts to maintain a safe and healthy community.
Please contact your Friendship Village of Bloomington management team with questions and concerns.
Thank you for your continued support.
